This website is owned by the Divide Classic. It was created so that individuals diagnosed with hydrocephalus and who are treated at Denver Children’s Hospital can have access to their important health information at any time.

Information Collection and Use

MyHINrecords does not collect, rent or sell your personal information.
This includes, but is not limited to, mailing addresses, telephone or fax numbers, and e-mail addresses. Your contact information is stored by MyHINrecords in a safe and secure manner.

MyHINrecords adheres to the principles and guidelines of the Health Insurance Portability Act (HIPPA).The privacy provisions of the federal law, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), apply to health information created or maintained by health care providers who engage in certain electronic transactions, health plans, and health care clearinghouses. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued the regulation, "Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information," applicable to entities covered by HIPAA. The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is the Departmental component responsible for implementing and enforcing the privacy regulation.

The information stored on MyHINrecords belongs to the individual subscriber. Only by permission of the user/subscriber may information, including passwords be shared with other parties

MyHINrecords is not a covered entity as currently identified by HIPPA regulations. However, MyHINrecords strives to maintain the privacy and security of Personal Identifiable Information as if MyHINrecords was a covered entity under the federal HIPPA guidelines.
